Force Protection

Force protection is preventive measures taken to mitigate hostile actions in specific areas or against a specific population, usually military personnel, resources, facilities, and critical information. i3’s highly skilled and experienced team of security Subject Matter Experts employs advanced software applications to develop customized security solutions for government installations and facilities across the globe. Using a risk-based assessment approach, we ensure our customers meet their real security needs at the lowest reasonable costs.

ForcePRO

ForcePRO is a decision support software tool used to evaluate and improve government installation protection. ForcePRO facilitates a thorough, repeatable, and understandable security analysis that documents the assets, threats, and vulnerabilities facing an installation. It aids in developing risk mitigation strategies to reduce risks. The ForcePRO assessment meets the requirements of DoDI 2000.16 “DoD Antiterrorism (AT) Standards,” DoD O-2000.12-H “DoD Antiterrorism Handbook,” AFI 10- 245 “Antiterrorism (AT),” and AFI 31-101 “Integrated Defense.” Captured in USAF Integrated Defense doctrine, ForcePRO serves as the catalyst for Security Forces to transform security operations from a compliance-based approach to an effects-based approach, designed to defeat relevant threats to a site or installation. Effects-based operations tailored to the threat environment usually result in savings in security resources, critical in today’s austere and unpredictable climate. i3 Risk Management SMEs are recognized experts in this field, directly responsible for the development of the U.S. Air Force Integrated Defense methodology and doctrine (AF 31-101), and for introducing the powerful methodology to the U.S. Army. Through a cooperative agreement between the Air Force and the Soldier Protection Laboratory (SPL) within the Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) at Redstone Arsenal, ForcePRO software is being developed and upgraded for both the Air Force and Army. In addition, i3 SMEs have conducted training for over 900 DoD anti-terrorism and force protection (ATFP) experts, conducted approximately 60 ForcePRO risk assessments, and provided extensive operational security support to our DoD customers. Our team includes the four leading security assessment experts for the Air Force and Army with combined over 300 individual risk and vulnerability assessments, evaluating defense C2, facilities, equipment, and processes.
