The i3 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Based Range (UAVBR)
i3 provides Operational, Integration, and Logistical support for a UAVBR in support of hypersonic missile testing in the terminal phase of trajectory.
The UAVBR is equipped with both MQ-9 Reapers and RQ-4 Global Hawks allowing for the capture of real-time telemetry, real-time full motion video, maritime range clearing, and the collection of weather data of a projectile in flight. This unique capability increases overall National flight test capacity while greatly reducing associated cost associated with hypersonic missile testing.
Reaper Test Cell (RTC)
i3 provides Integration, System Design, and Logistical support to the Joint Technology Center / Systems Integration Laboratory (JSIL). This effort is achieved by utilizing a combat coded block 30 Ground Control Station (GCS) and a block 5 MQ-9 Reaper in a Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) test environment. Both these configurations are the most recent and up to date variants ensuring that all benefits discovered in research and integration make an immediate improvements for the Nations Warfighter. End users reaping these benefits include United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), and the Air National Guard (ANG).
